Hi,
I have been experiencing some intermittent VPN connectivity issues and wondered if any one else has experienced similar issues / has a solution.
Some background info:
I am now using Windows 8 Pro (64bit) after upgrading from Windows 7 Pro (64bit) via the keep settings / programs option.
After the upgrade I had to uninstall Online Armour and my anti-virus solution (Bitdefender) and then install the latest releases. I am now using Online Armour 6.0.0.1736.
After running through various programs and opening the restricted port 1723 for PPTP VPN access I think that my config is settled.
However I have an intermittent problem with my PPTP VPN connections (I have multiple connections for work and general internet access). Generally VPN access works however every so often an attempt to connect to any of my VPN connections is unsuccessful. When in this state the Networks charm shows the VPN has connected but when I check the Network State the Media State is shown as connected but the IPv4 connectivity shows as No network access. (see attachments).
If i disconnect the VPN then I can access the internet. All further attempts to use any of my VPN connections fails with the same problem.
I have tried closing and shutting downing Online Armour when in this state but every VPN connection still fails.
The only way I have managed to resolve the issue when in this state is to shutdown, restart and perform some general browsing before shutting down again and then restart perform some general browsing and then start a VPN connection.
I don't think this is an Online Armour problem but I would appreciate any help / advice to resolve the problem.
